Charles Tourtellotte is Founder, Chairman, and CEO of LaTerra Development, a Los Angeles based real estate investment and development company. Following the Great Recession in 2008, Mr. Tourtellotte began to purchase land at heavily discounted prices from lenders who had foreclosed on developers and founded LaTerra Development. After Consolidated Capital, Mr. Tourtellotte founded Metro Golf, a golf company that owned, acquired, developed and managed golf courses and driving ranges across the U.S. As CEO, Mr. Tourtellotte took Metro Golf public in 1996 with a NASDAQ listed IPO and led Metro Golf through a merger and acquisition with another public company.
After divesting his interest in Metro Golf, Mr. Tourtellotte formed Shoreline Communities, a San Diego development company that completed, together with its team, more than 1,000 multifamily units and single-family homes.
